Do you accept insurance as payment?

No, it's a payment-for-service office that can accept cash, check, or credit card. An itemized receipt for self-submission for insurance reimbursement can be provided upon request to those whose insurance allows it. 

Is there a payment plan?

Yes, you can pay half of the total charge at the time of service and the second half within one month of the date of service.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

You may cancel without charges if done at least 12-hours before an appointment. Cancellations within 12-hours or no-shows for scheduled appointment will be charged for a brief subsequent visit downpayment ($50) that must be paid before scheduling another appointment.

What is herbal-aided OMT?

A comprehensive treatment for all body regions is provided while scenting an essential oil and after micro-dosing with a safe herbal tincture. Herbs are mutually selected for aiding in making positive life changes. After the one hour session, a 1oz bottle of the beneficial tincture(s) is provided for daily home use. Herbal-aided OMT is particularly helpful for chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety/depression, and major life changes.

Can I obtain a medical cannabis card through Dr. Beatty?

Yes, Dr. Beatty participates as a certifying physician in the West Virginia medical cannabis program. During an Initial Visit he'll complete a medical history, physical examination, review of drug interactions and controlled substance use, and obtaining of medical records. If eligible, he'll submit an electronic certification of need, after which you can apply for a cannabis card with the WV Office of Medical Cannabis. Re-certification is needed after one year and can be completed with a Brief Subsequent Visit.

No, Dr. Beatty is not a participating provider and is unable to see those enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid.

Do you see children for osteopathic manipulative treatment?

Yes, Dr. Beatty treats children of all ages including newborns. Pediatric initial and subsequent visits are billed at half of the usual charges.
